Nancy Marin, Ph.D.

Dr. Nancy Marin is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She specializes in neuropsychological testing designed to diagnose learning disabilities and ADHD in children and adults, helping families better understand their child’s learning style, and developing strategies for greater success in the classroom and in life.

Background

Dr. Marin entered the field of psychology in 1998 and has worked in a variety of settings including public schools, inpatient psychiatric hospitals for children, children’s hospitals, and private practice. She employs a variety of client-centered approaches in her work including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Child-Centered Play Therapy.

Approach

Dr. Marin specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults who are eager to learn skills that can help them better organize their lives, manage the multiple demands on their time, and ultimately succeed in achieving their goals. Dr. Marin received extensive training in ADHD and dyslexia, and she enjoys helping clients implement positive, research-based strategies into their everyday routines.

Jodi Hogan

Jodi Hogan is a former elementary school teacher that now works with Dr. Marin as both a Psychometrist and the office manager.  She currently proctors and evaluates the educational testing of each client.  Additionally, Jodi is the point person in answering any questions for prospective clients, handles all of the scheduling and paperwork, and enjoys helping Marin Psychology Associates continue to thrive.
